Jesus and Patience

A recent graphite drawing of Jesus with gold leaf (16"x20") that I have been working on the past couple weeks. There was no reference figure, just basic proportion guides and learning some new techniques. As I have reflected on this, it appears more and more to be inspired by iconography. I've learned a few things. Number 1 is that I need to work on patience. There is still room for to grow, but I was pleased with the overall improvement with a little patience.
