Use of Images

If you find anything useful for a Christian congregational ministry setting (with the exception of logos associated with organizations or events and artwork otherwise specified), you are free to use the images uploaded on this site in bulletins, powerpoint, church website, etc. I only ask that you give credit when and where possible.

If you are working outside of the congregational setting and/or seeking monetary gain through publication, etc., you need to get written consent from me. You may email me at matthew.rosebrock (at) gmail.com.

Different Kinds of Images on the Site:

My Own Artwork:
This would include my original drawings, paintings, sculptures, digital painting, etc. Unless otherwise noted, artwork shown on this site is my own.

Proper credit should include:
Matthew Rosebrock. Title of Work (Year, if given). [Materials and dimensions, if given]. matthewdrosebrock.blogspot.com

Bible Verse Graphics (Usually following the 3-Year Lectionary of the Lutheran Service Book):
These are images where I have used graphic design techniques to create, modify, and/or compile one or more image sources with an eye toward clear communication of a particular biblical text. The design, color adjustments, etc. is my own original work using photo editing or graphic design software. The sources used may be my own work or images created by others that are—to my knowledge—copyright free and/or used with permission. Disclaimer in the cases where source images (and fonts) are not my original work: While I always seek to be as thorough as I can to ensure that these images and fonts are copyright free (as far as I know) and to include a credit line with links to original source photos and artwork, you are still responsible to do your own homework before using them in any kind of publication.

Images used for commentary:
These are images (artwork, photographs, etc.) that I have found interesting for comment on theologically. Again, while I always seek to be as thorough as I can to ensure that these images are copyright free (as far as I know) and to include a credit line with links to original source photos and artwork, you are still responsible to do your own homework before using them in any kind of publication.
