Lion (and Bible Verse Graphic Bonus)

Lion (Colored Pencil, 8"x10"), 2022.

A recent colored pencil drawing of a lion using this photo as a reference image. I also did a graphite pencil drawing of the lion prior to the colored pencil. In some ways the graphite is more compelling. It is a lot easier to get contrasting values. I also created a slide of the image pointing to Revelation 5:5 and the lion of the tribe of Judah.
