Biblical Art in the Heart | Presentation @ CSL Symposium 2022

Concordia Seminary's Theological Symposium this year is focused on the history of exegesis. I have offered a recorded presentation (linked above) that compares the medieval Biblia Pauperum tradition with Lucas Cranach the Elder's Law and Gospel Paintings with an emphasis on a small version of the painting from around 1550 by looking at the place of rhetoric and memory (following Mary Carruthers).
